Liberate The Phantom- Homage to Luis Bunuel

Lital Dotan & Eyal Perry construct a participatory performance installation and live actions in homage and response to Luis Buñuel's films, including The Exterminating Angel, The Obscure Object of Desire and core reference referenced by the event title, The Phantom of Liberty.

Appropriating imagery across film disciplines to create a distinct and highly influential Surrealist vocabulary, Buñuel's interest in hypnosis, dreams, synesthesia, and the asethetics of radical politics inform Dotan and Perry's work for this evening.
