I kill-ill You
Site specific dance performance by Karen Bößer

In the new interdisciplinary dance performance project: „I kill-ill you“ Karen Bößer (lives and works in Germany) researches the subject of suppression and illusion.
„I kill-ill you“examines the phenomenon of displacement. It‘s about the inner processes that are often elusive even for those who are affected.
The viewers will come into contact with their different perception and patterns of explanation.
Karen Bößer studied at DNA, Cunningham Studio and Panetta Movement Centre in NYC, USA. She worked i.e. with the Ballet for Young Audience / NYC; Healing Theatre, Cologne, State Theatre Leipzig; Arma ;Theatre / Israel; tatraum projekte SchmidT / Düsseldorf; as well as with i.e.:Howard Katz, Frey Faust, Elaine Shipman and Franz Karl Bößer. She was invited to several artists’ exchanges in Ein Hod, Israel,;Hot Summer Festival in Kyoto, Japan, tanzhaus nrw, Düsseldorf, Dansateliers in Rotterdam, Engage the City project in Bucharest, Romania and took part in “Nasibu” an exchange project between European and Ugandan artist in Kampala, Uganda. Since 2008 her performance projects are shown and co- produced by Forum Freies Theater in Düsseldorf, Germany.
